Our project aims to revolutionize public library web applications in Georgia by competing with existing solutions like OpenBiblio, Koha, and Evergreen. These open-source systems have been widely adopted, but our research shows that there is a need for modernization and improvement in terms of flexibility, functionality and user-friendly features. Many libraries utilize outdated websites or has a lack of online presence. To address these challenges, our goal is to create a new web application using Laravel and React.js that not only updates cataloging and management functionality but also provides user-friendly interfaces and an overall enhanced user experience. This project aims to bridge the technological gap and ensure that libraries effectively meet the evolving needs of their communities in the digital age.
